I miss you every day and can't begin to express the sadness I feel when I think of you and the fact that you're not here anymore. I think about what advice you'd be giving me or what joke you'd be telling to cheer me up. I even miss you biting my feet! Every memory I have is with you. You were always there through the good times and the bad. You are the little brother I never had and the best friend When I needed someone to talk to. I miss you with everything I have. MY FIRST CHILD...BENJAMIN MICHAEL.."MIKEY".."MIKE THE KID"..WAS ALMOST BORN IN GERMANY, BUT WE DECIDED TO GO HOME TO EL PASO AND IT WAS AT WILLIAM BEAUMONT ARMY MEDICAL CENTER THAT MY SON WAS BORN. THIS EMBLEM IS THE EMBLEM OF THE 2ND GENERAL HOSPITAL WHERE I WAS STATIONED AS A MEDIC. I RECEIVED MOST OF MY NURSING TRAINING HERE AND ALSO COMPLETED MY DEGREE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND IN W. GERMANY. Mikey is in heaven now and this is not the time for us to grieve his death but it’s our time to celebrate his life. Don’t ever forget Mikey. He never wanted to see people cry. He wanted to make everyone happy. So at this moment let’s all think back and remember how Michael touched our lives. How he made us laugh and how good Mikey was as a person. This is not the moment for us to shed our tears but we should all be thankful that we were given the chance to have known a man named Mikey.
