To all my Aussie brothers and sisters...Keep strong. Remember the Red Cross is accepting all sorts of donations. Please contact them and help out any way you can. Spread the word. RIP to those that have been lost. Let's hope no more people die.
I have been watching this most of the day. My heart goes out to all the families who lost people and/or homes.
http://video.news.sky.com/skynews/video/ It is feared as many as 40 people may have been killed in wildfires sweeping Australia. More than 100 homes have been destroyed as the country struggles with record breaking temperatures. Sky's Kitty Logan reports.
THanks for creating this tribute. It means a lot to us.
RIP
what could they do???
The monsterous force of the bushfire in this picture it is so incredibly frightening! to think people fell victim to this in in their homes or trying to escape, umimaginable... now i understand when i hear that the sound of this was like a raoring jet engine.
These people are heros! Thank u to everone out there! take care.
that is a great picture... good one you and god bless
I live close to these fires. I am thinking of these poor people ever minute of the day.
how on earth can you take a photo of such a thing. Of people trying to save lives but dying along the way. R.I.P
r.i.p fire fighters your so brave i dont now what we would do if you were not there
If people don't take these photos, how can anyone not actually there comprehend the severity of it? I'm an Aussie living on the other side of the world and to me it is the only way people here can fully understand how devastating the situation is. Anyone who can spread the word gets kudos in my eyes...it's hard enough to stay in touch with what's going on back home. R.I.P to those who didn't make it, and well done to all those who helped.
yer it might be horrible to take pictures of someones loss but if we didnt then how would we show our kids and be able to tell them this is what happens when you play with fire this can be the out come and make the kids understand it not something to playin with i use these picture to help my kids understand it the loss and the bad pictures that are left
the photo say it all the job the fire fighters do
