I saw my uncle as the Carry Grant van de lage landen. An always charming, funny and handsome man, whenever he came over from Australia to our home, the whole family gathered and spoke Mestreechs. This was a feast and happening with Riestevlaoj and always very special. He was fund of me mother and sisters and brought them presents; nice fabrics in different colours from Australia and other countries. Me and my brothers, were surprised with, at that time the hippest surf swim-shorts. He went and came back every couple of years. Each time he brought his smile and laughter. His hart belongs to Australia and all the people who new him and most of all the "family" that gathered around him and helped him through these last years of his life, I want to thank them for their sincere love and care. He's once again on a big trip. Thanks, Ben

In Australia, a land Far Far Away, Our Uncle Carl passed away, This typical brown faced man with always that smile on his face, has come to the end of his days. But don't think of him as gone away his last journey's just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of him as now resting from his sorrows and his tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as fully living in the hearts of those he has touched... for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. Uncle Carl, we will always remember you.....
