I had the pleasure of first meeting Cath 2 years ago when I began work at Glebe Eyewear. As a "new commer" to Glebe, Cath welcomed me with open arms, we would talk about anything and everything & over the years we became friends. If ever I had a problem I knew i could rely on Cath for advice or a solution.
Cath worked along side her beloved mother Jan, as production & editorial manager of Art Almanac Australian Art Gallery Guide. She loved her work and had an intense passion for art & the literary world. She was very talented but would never admit it. An intensly private person, I was honoured that she accepted me as her friend and felt privaleged that she trusted and confided in me. Cath loved her mother Jan, her siblings, Penny, Helen, Tim and Rob, she adoured her nieces and nephews and would often talk about them with such pleasure and love in her heart.
Cath, your passing has left a deep hole in my heart, I will miss you terribly. May you finally find the peace and happiness you so longed for in life on the other side. RIP my friend, my "chat buddy" Cath. You are finally at peace, you'll be alright now.
I'm sure one day we'll meet again,
Alex Tipp
