You will be sadely missed , i grew up to your music .
Condolences to your family.

Christie has been an important part of my life from early childhood and one of my absolute favourite artists from my favourite era in music-late 70's/early 80's.A couple of memories I can think of from that period involving Christie was while playing at a park in Bolton Point and someone with either a portable radio or radio/cassette player had the good sense to have "He's My Number One" blaring loudly without a care as to who heard it.All I can say to that is-they had great taste!
However,it's when I heard her for the first time I'll cherish the most.Early 1979,I'd just moved into a new home and I get introduced to Christie thanks to the K-Tel album "Action Replay",which contained "Falling In Love With Only You".Sweet, yet vulnerable at the same time and she came into my life at just the right moment.
I'm still coming to terms with Christie passing away, especially when I had no idea she was ill and I think it'll be a long time before I can get my head around the fact that she's gone.
My deepest sympathies to her family and friends
Always loved your music Christie-always will
Thank you and rest in peace

I remembered Christie from my teenage years. She was a huge part of that era for me. I am surprised at the news of her death. She'll always remain in my memories.
