I will never forget your face when you walked out to your car (thinking you were going to brunch with your family for your 50th Birthday) and you turned to see a mini bus pulling into your driveway. Everyone was yelling. With a bemused look on your face you stepped onto the bus. Some were dressed in Preston jumpers with your number on the back......with a pause .....you said..."Are we going to be a while?"...when everyone replied with YES....you ran back inside to get your TAB ticket stubs. It was a fantastic day. One I will remember always. Hub...you were such a lovely man. Your wife is amazing. I am sure you knew that already. Your children are a reflection of incredible parents...so strong so brave. You would be so very proud. Webby said to me " I will miss his smile"...and so will I. Love Julesxxxxxxx

Hub, it's with the heaviest of hearts that we write this tribute. You were not only my friend's husband but you had become a good friend of John and we all miss you so much and just wish you would come home......Dean and Marcus are struggling to understand.....why bad things happen to good people. However, we continue to feel your presence each time we see Jo, Georgia, Caleb and/or The Toff! You've empowered them all, with the strength and dignity and sense of humour to move through each day as it's presented to them. Your final resting place (for now).....so, so beautiful......I imagine you wouldn't want to be anywhere else....except maybe GlenFerrie Oval or All Saints Winery???? Hub, we love you, we miss you.....forever! Love from Johnny, Church (The role model!!!), Dean and Marcus. xoxoxoxo

The past Christmas Holidays, i was invited by the Prideaux family to go to the Beach in Jan Juc. Only just surviving my first trip with Georgia as driver! Anyway while Caleb and I swam and played some beach cricket with some friends we had met from school, David, Joanne & Georgia all chose to sunbake for the day. Most of the time, David, being the risk manager he was, had his hat covering his face from being sunburnt. Except for maybe a 20 minute block where he watched us play cricket with just his sunglasses on. When we got home, it was obvious David hadnt assesd the sun too well that day, and had his face burnt and his sunglasses tan line around his eyes from just that 20 minutes. It was probably one of the best of many days i have had the pleasure of sharing with this wonderful family. Now i know why Caleb gets burnt so easily! Love always The Moose

A man whom showed how life was to be enjoyed, not rushed and to take time to smell and drinks the Red's, making time for family and friends, the Love he showed to his wife Jo and their kids Georgia and Caleb without saying a word. To seeing his face after the last game of the noraml season when we finished on the top shouting at the top of his voice "WE'RE NUMBER ONE" with all his mate around him with such Pride. Hubba you will be missed but not forgotten.......All the best where every you are mate love from Arty, Ashley and Shaylee
