Please let all of your concerns, thoughts, prayers, and love for Jennifer and family to be just that. It is not an issue to be ashamed for the City of Chicago with this matter. It was not the City nor the people. It was the act...this could have happened in any city/state. This is where Jennifer's mother wanted to live. We al know that she could have lived wherever she wanted to. This was a spirit of the man/person/persons that did such a horrible and cowardly act. God will deal with him/them accordlingly. We live where we will live because we choose to. This was her home, but now she is in a better place than you and I. When she was in her mother's womb, God knew that this day would come. So I say to her...God bless you and your new home. Jennifer, I pray that God will comfort, sustain, give you peace, joy, and His unconditional love in such a time as this. Yes it is hard, but God will give you strength that you never thought was possible. Continue to shine, hold your head up, let God take control, surrender your all, and watch God perform miracles into your life. May God's will be done in your life. I love you..I now share in your pain, but you have the victory, in Jesus Christ of Nazereth name...Amen...to God be the Glory. "Joy"

My heart and sincerest prayers are with you at this most devastating time in your life. I can only imagine the shock and dismay at the news of your losses(Mother and Brother). I'm sure like me others feel like you are our sister, cousin, etc, as we have been w/you since your American Idol days,rooting you onward and upward in your only but -UP-career. You are apart of our family. You invited us in w/your marvelous talent and award winning performances and smiles. God is not thru w/you yet. Your mom and brother are up there w/Him now. this has got to be the saddest day for your family... I remember when I heard the news, I felt your pain instantly. I am not family and Im not one to jump on every band wagon just to be heard, but to all of the Hudson family, my thoughts and prayers are definitely with you. I pray that the King boy is returned unharmed and that you all can hurt, grieve, and heal together. I love you Jennifer, be strong. Even though this may be your hardest trial to date, please continue to stand strong. Cry when you need to and remember them on their good days and smile when you can. God loves you and will bring you through.

I don't have a memory. I just wanted to offer condolsecenses to Jennifer Hudson and her family. My husband and I are praying that you grab hold to the King of Kings right now. He is all you have to get you through this week, next week, min by min, sec by sec, day by day. I can't imagine and I hurt for you and your family. You are a beautiful person with grace. I know your remaining family are devasted. We have sent our warrior angels out to capture the monster that did this and most of all bring your nephew back ALIVE and without HARM!! The Holy Spirit will comfort you and give you supernatural strength!
