Among my fondest adolescent memories is my recollection of afternoon coffee at the house of Rowlands, a hand warming and heart warming daily stop on the trudge home from high school. Mrs R's kitchen was a haven and her presence was somehow cheering and reassuring in that happy home. My deepest sympathies to Sharon, Michael , Janenne, and Neree. Your mother was a gem.
