Michael Schildberger oversaw the annual production of the Family Business Australia Awards DVD - and lent his wonderful voice to the commentary. Understanding that the organisation is a not-for-profit body committed to professionalising family owned businesses, Michael gave his time and talent to this project, for minimal return. He was a caring man, and I only wish I had expressed my appreciation more fully when we still had him. Why is that we expect our friends and contacts will always be there? We at FBA will miss him keenly - and send our sympathy to his children - may they carry his baton high and keep Business Essentials true to his legacy.
