Despite the distance my Auntie Jean has continued to be ever present in our family and her stories with my Mother have become absorbed into family lore. We will miss the 6am telephone calls; "hallo darling it's Jean in Australia" as she provided a valued link to our much loved cousins.
We will be thinking of you specially much at this time.

Jean was a much loved friend and support to me and my family when we first arrived in Australia in 1963. Her kindness and generosity and her quiet sense of humour will always be remembered with love and gratitude

I remember my Aunt Jean as being fun loving, kind and caring. It was over twenty years ago when I last saw her and I have a vivid memory of being in her prescence. I remember her taking a real interest in what I was doing with my life and that continued despite our separation by some 10,000 miles. Christmas and Anniverary cards always arrived as Jean carved herself a place in my life.
