I worked with Paul in Northies at Cronulla....he was the Manager I worked as security. At first when he moved to Huskinson I was down south and called into the pub to say Hello. He talked about how happy he was and that he had made the right move. I stayed overnight at the Pub and he gave me a Husky tee shirt and singlet of which I still wear today. Then I travelled down south again this long weekend 28/1/2013) and I thought I will call in again and say G'Day to Paul...I was totally shocked when I found out that he had been killed in a motor vehicle accident. My deepest sympathy to his family.....from the Tonga community.

I only found out yesterday about Paul's passing and was shocked and saddened to hear the news.
I worked with Paul at the Beach Rd Hotel in Bondi in the late 90's.
Sometimes it seemed that Paul & I were the only people working in that joint that weren't hospitality/actor .../muso .../writer .../something arty!
He was a stand up bloke in an environment that often seemed slapstick!
I'll always remember his dry humour and good heart.
He was a lovely man.
I would like to convey my sincere condolensces to Pauls family at this time.
My thoughts & prayers are with you -Kyleigh

R.I.P Paul ,You were a great boss and also a great friend thanks paul for standing by us. we will miss you and always remember you , You made us feel like family, Our deepest Sympathy to Beck ,Liam and his Family..Corky and Trevor

I only found out yesterday about Paul and am deeply shocked. I first met Paul and Bec many years ago in my shop at Bonnet Bay Sydney and created a wine and Husky Pub label for the Pub. Instantly we hit it off and for many years if ever I was in Husky I would visit Paul and Bec. I picked the phone up 2 weeks ago to ring him and let him know I was coming to Husky with 2 mates this weekend. That phone call didnt happen as I was sidetracked and thought I will just stroll in and surprise him. I will be their this weekend but will be sad that I cant have a beer with one of the nicest blokes Ive met in my life. My thoughts turn to Bec and Liam keep the fond memories and smile , he would want nothing more.Regards Brad Humphries

Fantastic bloke. Went to school and surfed with Paul many years ago. Always laughing and having fun. Saw him down south a few years ago. Most taken aback to hear of his passing. Condolences to all family. Simon.

What a nice bloke. Firm when necessary but easier to get a laugh out of than upset him. he always seemed to be doing for some organisation in the community.
The world will be a lesser place with Paul's passing.
My greatest of sympathy for Bec and Liam.
