I love Princess Diana. I'm sure she had her faults as we all do, however, she was a beautiful example of love. In 1995 my husband, son, and I were going to come to Europe for vacation in hopes that I could just see her. I loved reading about her and it would have been such a treat. I became pregnant that year and then she was killed before we felt like we were able to travel like that again. She meant a lot to me. I am a bit disappointed that William and Harry are so close to Camilla.

I`ll never forget the day that i found out that Princess Diana had died. Although i never met or knew her personally, her death affected me deeply. My own marriage took place the month after Diana`s, she was the same age as me, she had two boys like me, the same ages. She inspired so many people, to care for others less fortunate than theirselves. Still greatly missed and loved by the public, she was a shining star in this dismal world we live in today. You are always in out thoughts.

I remember the night that Princess Diana was killed. I was away for a few days in the moutains of Pennsylvania, US, having a few drinks in a Ramada Inn lounge, when suddenly the room filled with people and a band went silent. Everyone's eyes turned to the televisions and people sat in total horror as we heard the news of Diana's death. My eyes fille with tears as I mourned the loss of a great lady who was respected for "being so real" by the world. God surely blessed Diana for all the good she did in the short time we were blessed to have her here.

It was at least two weeks before I stopped crying over the death of this young lady. My heart was shattered for the sake of her two boys because of the loss of their mother. You could see how much she loved her children and how good and kind a person she was. She will be remembered always for this and her good works.

I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning to watch Diana become Diana Princess of Wales. The fairy tale was just that, a beautiful fairy tale. how sad that her days ran out and how very little she was loved or respected by her husband and the Royal family. I believe that Princess Diana's memory will live on and that her memory will remain a stitch in the sides of the very people who harmed this beautiful woman. Prince Charles and Camilla should be so ashamed of themselves that they respectfuly stay away from the memorial. Diana will be in our hearts forever and will remain the Queen of Hearts. My God be with Prince William and Prince Harry and hold their hands through this touching memorial. God Bless both of you.

I never got to meet you but I followed your life and admired you for your generous and loving nature. I felt as though I knew you. I, being a woman, understood the paths you chose to take. You have two wonderful and caring young men and they are better because of you. When you care for someone enough to follow their lives it is as though they are part of the family. You will live forever in the minds and the hearts of the ones that love you. No one can take you away from our memories. You are in our hearts and our minds forever.

Dearest Diana, all though you have left us forever, your still in my heart and on my mind almost daily. I felt close to you because of my own very unhappy marriage and because of some of the other things you went through were similar to my own life. You were a beautiful lady of spirt and of heart. I too, am guided by my heart and not by logic. I love you Diana, and may you rest peacfully knowing that you were loved my many and that you had more worth then you could have ever know possible. God loves you and so do I. Sleep well and content in your heart that you did the best with what you had at the time.

I remember the very moment I heard the tragic news - I was in bed in France and received an early a.m. phone call from my father in the US, asking my mother and I if we had heard what happened to Diana ... I vividly remember overhearing my mother repeat the news outloud and rose out of bed to switch on the news ... I'm not quite sure how she became our princess too but her life and story touched many people around the world - as did her loss. - Audrey

Even after ten years, it is still unbelievable that she is gone. No one in the current royal family will ever be able to replace her. I think the entire world still aches for her and feels the pain of her loss. Diana was the greatest light in the royal family and I find it very crude and rude that Charles and Camilla would dare to show up on such an occasion for her.

Diana had a poise and elegance that has long been lost in "celebrities" that Americans are often interested in. She had a heart of gold, and brought attention to causes that needed to be known. She is greatly missed, however I think (hopefuly) that her legacy lives on in her sons.

I had the tv on in my bedroom and was working in the next room. I rushed into the bedroom and just stood there. I figured it that HRH Diana Princess of Wales had done more humanitarian work second only to Mother Theresa of Calcutta than any public or private official or citizen of the world. May she rest in peace and may eternal light shine upon her! The world lost a true champion. My prayer is that her sons may have the strength to continue her modernization of the House of Windsors and that when the time comes to ascend to the throne it will be a continuance of her passions and causes. She is what the monarchy should of become. The royals used her and murdered her. Charles does not deserve to be king let alone a prince.

I have read every book on Princess Diana, she was a true Princess in every sense of the word. Everyone should remember Diana, for what she did for all of the good work she did all around the world not just England. I will always remember the shy young person that she was and the very beautiful lady she became. Diana, was the real Peoples Princess that she often spoke of our only hope is that William and Harry, will follow her footsteps and bring the royals into the 20th centery as she tried to vary hard to do. The boys are the royals only hope as Daina, stated. Diana, was a true leader and such a loving person in every aspect. I wish her family well and hope that they will never let ANYONE her.

Princess Di is a beautiful person, in appearance as well as within. She so special to all who new her and didn't know her in person. May be God had a special plan for her to take her away so soon. God must really love her to take her away from this cruel world. Although it sad to have her gone, she in a special place with her creator who loves her so much. May her soul rest in peace
